With the construction projects associated with the new Revelstoke Mountain Resort and the building of Turbine Five at the Revelstoke Dam, Revelstoke anticipates an increase in temporary residents (construction staff) and more part-time residents (people building second homes). New residents are often not aware of their responsibility to secure bear attractants, or even of what constitutes a bear attractant. The coordinator will be targeting Revelstoke’s newcomers with an education campaign.
