The Revelstoke Bear Aware Coordinator is part of the city’s waste strategy collection committee, which is looking at options to see the city through the process of achieving a bear proof solid waste management system. This may result in the use of bear-proof curbside garbage tins, bylaws about securing garbage between collection days, neighbourhood bins, or a combination of these.
